Teams and Rugby players give thanks to God on eve of Rugby World Cup

In their final Rugby World Cup warm-up game, Samoa played Wasps on their home ground, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The game was tight all the way through and in the 79th minute Samoa were awarded a penalty under Wasps posts. Samoa pushed the Wasps pack over their line to gain the winning score. As the players came off the pitch they came together in a large circle to pray.

This is just one of many high profile teams, along with Fiji and Tonga, that are professing their faith in a big way. We look forward to seeing God’s hand of safety on these teams during the tournament.
