Engage 2015 is a cross denominational campaign set up to help UK churches serve the rugby community during the World Cup event in October 2015. As part of the strategy to help churches Engage 2015 has confirmed attendance at key summer festivals taking place across the UK. The aim is to promote the brand and create awareness of Rugby World Cup and Engage 2015’s resources to as wide an audience as possible. From church leaders to youth, families and children from all denominations Engage 2015 will be working to encourage churches to make the most of this wonderful opportunity to share the gospel.
Engage 2015 will have a formal presence at the festivals as a focal point and place for people to meet the team. The team will be running various rugby associated games and competitions including, the Engage Speed Test, Touch & Tag rugby tournaments, and Sports Quizzes. Between the months of April and August the team will be at; The Big Church Day Out, The Gathering Men’s Festival, The Keswick Convention, Spring Harvest, New Wine, Momentum and Soul Survivor.
